My name is Danielle Hartung, and I am a REAL Realtor!
There is a negative stigma associated with Realtors, so much so that the word “Realtor” is almost a nasty word. We’re often compared to used car salesmen, and touted as slimy, money-grubbing, snakes in the grass.
The thing is, we’re not like that, at least not all of us, not even most of us. Sure, there are some bad apples in the bunch, the same is true in every profession, and I have no doubt that this reputation was well-earned over the years, before all the laws and regulations were put into place to protect the public from "real estate sharks." It is my goal to show you all that the world of real estate has evolved, and not every agent is “out to make a quick buck off anyone they can.” I am in real estate because I love the moving process (I know, I’m crazy!), I love helping people find the perfect home for them, and I love people! I am in it because I am great at sizing up a situation and noticing the details that make or break a great home - a gift I would be remiss if I didn’t put it to its highest and best use! I am in it because I want to ensure buyers and sellers are aware of their rights and the many programs available to them, and to help them navigate through the sticky stuff.
Real estate is NOT “easy money.” It is HARD work. The training is grueling and rigorous. The standards and laws governing us are incredibly stringent and we are under the microscope at all times. It requires unending flexibility, an unsurpassed attention to detail, constant and continuous education, and an ability to multitask like a boss!
I am a REAL Realtor. I am a REAL person. A partner. A mother. A dugout mom. A baseball coach. A PTA volunteer. I rescue and foster animals. I help out with my HOA and am very involved in my community. I volunteer to help those in need... And I help people sell their homes and find the perfect new home for them.
